LAT

A senior consulting team from Latvia, helping Nordic and West Europe organizations move legacy core systems to modern architecture — without downtime, security incidents, or compliance gaps. 3 years of mission-critical delivery for Latvian public-sector platforms. Combined 60+ years of senior team experience.
Why teams choose us

Senior-heavy team, not a body shop
Four senior specialists (architect, lead developer, project manager, senior QA) with individual portfolios from large-scale projects — not just years on a CV. You get architectural judgment from day one, not after onboarding.

Mission-critical experience
We have spent three years maintaining and modernizing core information systems for organizations where downtime, data integrity, and regulatory compliance are non-negotiable. The patterns that work in regulated public-sector IT translate directly to banking, insurance, and healthcare.

EU jurisdiction, GDPR-native
Based in Latvia — an EU member state with full GDPR alignment. No third-country data transfer questions, no surprise legal reviews. For regulated buyers, this removes a procurement hurdle that overseas providers cannot match.
Four ways to engage us:

Senior staff
augmentation
A senior architect, lead developer, project manager, or QA lead joins your existing team for 3–12 months. Embedded delivery, not arms-length outsourcing. Lowest-friction way to access our expertise.
Ideal when: you need a senior role filled now, your in-house team is great but missing a specific shape of experience.
Typical engagement: 3–12 months. Onboarding within 2–4 weeks.

Modernization Discovery
(4 weeks, fixed price)
A focused four-week engagement led by our architect. We assess your current system, document the technical and business risks, and deliver a modernization roadmap with three options (incremental, hybrid, full rewrite) — each costed and sequenced.
Ideal when: leadership knows modernization is needed but cannot agree on how. You want a credible outside view before committing budget.
Deliverables: assessment report, options brief, risk register, 12-month roadmap, executive presentation.

Modernization Sprints
(8–12 weeks)
Scoped delivery engagements with a clear outcome — one module migrated from monolith to microservice, an API layer wrapped around a legacy core, a compliance and security upgrade. Fixed scope, predictable team, demonstrable result.
Ideal when: you have identified the next concrete modernization step and need it delivered without distracting your in-house team.
Team: 1 architect + 1–2 developers + 1 QA, scaled to fit the sprint.

Full-cycle
modernization programs
End-to-end modernization of a core system, typically 6–18 months. We own the outcome — architecture, delivery, testing, deployment, handover. Engagement begins with a Discovery or a confirmed scope.
Ideal when: you have validated the modernization path (often through a prior Discovery with us) and want a partner that takes the full delivery risk.
Engagement: typically follows from a Discovery or Sprint.
We focus on sectors where systems must be reliable, secure, and compliant — and where a single failure has real consequences.

Banking & Financial Services
Core banking modernization, payment systems, regulatory reporting platforms.

Insurance
Policy administration, claims processing, Solvency II–aligned reporting.

Healthcare
Hospital information systems, health insurance claims, integration with national health registries.

Public Sector & Justice
Regulated case management, social services platforms, regulator-facing systems.

Critical Infrastructure
Energy, transport, and logistics platforms where downtime has cascading consequences.

Fintech
Open banking APIs, embedded finance platforms, KYC and AML compliance systems.
Meet the team

Senior Project Manager
Owns delivery end-to-end and acts as your single point of contact. Experienced in regulated environments where audit trail and predictability matter.

Senior Systems Architect
Designs the technical foundation of every modernization — legacy assessment, integration strategy, technology choices. Leads our Discovery engagements.

Senior Development Lead
Owns implementation craft — coding standards, code review, CI/CD. The bridge between architecture and day-to-day delivery.

Senior Test Automation Lead
Designs and maintains automated test coverage — unit, integration, performance, security. Keeps modernization fast and regression-free.
How a typical engagement begins
How we typically start working together
➀
Initial conversation (30 minutes, free)
We talk through your situation — the system, the team, what triggered the conversation, what „good” looks like for you. At the end of the call, you have a clear sense of whether we are the right partner. No pressure, no follow-up sales sequence.
➁
Scoping call (1 hour, free)
If there is a fit, our architect joins a second call to go deeper into the technical context. We agree on what an initial engagement would look like — usually a four-week Discovery, or a staff augmentation match.
➂
Proposal (within one week)
You receive a written proposal with scope, team, timeline, deliverables, and fixed price (for Discovery and Sprints) or a clear day-rate (for staff augmentation). No surprises later.
④
Start (within 2–4 weeks of signed agreement)
We begin the engagement — onboarding, first artifacts, first results. You get weekly progress updates and a named point of contact from day one.
